Hi! I’m Allison Rushby and I’m a writer.

I write under several pseudonyms. As Allison Rushby, I write junior and Middle Grade fiction. As A.J. Rushby I write Young Adult fiction. And as A. Rushby I write fiction for adults. What do I write about? Well, I write about all sorts of things.

Sometimes it’s bewitched anatomical wax models. 

Sometimes it’s tinsel jackets and therapy pom poms.

Sometimes it’s sisters who can wish, wonderfully odd authoress aunts, haunted houses, cursed lockets, doppelgängers and kittens who have tea parties at midnight.

I do all of this fuelled by copious cups of tea. 

When I’m not writing, you can find me on Facebook,  Twitter and Instagram. You can also find me adminning (surely that’s a word?!) over at Your Kid’s Next Read, the fabulous Facebook group all about putting the perfect book into little readers’ hands.

I have two personal assistants, Harry and Titus, who you can follow on Instagram as well.
